SHM seems like something that North Coast will shell out all their money for to try to salvage the nightmare of a year they had in 2018.
All three of them have played that fest as well, it's not like they're explicitly tied to Lolla if we're trying to make connections.
EDIT: Lol I forgot Axwell and Ingrosso literally headlined last year. This might be one of those takes that immediately goes bad.

But honestly would North Coast (or their fans) care if they brought back Axwell and Ingrosso as part of SHM? I can't imagine anyone would care, especially if they're playing completely different music (I don't know this though...do Axwell and Ingrosso play SHM music during their sets? I've never been to one of their shows, and probably never will).

Thoughts? I know some of the billing is off you spelled Perry Farrell wrong. Back to the drawing board, you.

That doesn't look too bad. I'm going anyway.
But, DCFC, Pixies, and a few others will be on my top 65 predictions list.

Swedish House Mafia sold out the United Center during their farewell tour a few years back. If this ends up being one of their few North American dates this year, that's certainly a bigger draw than other EDM acts in contention.

All Together Now fest in Ireland is the same weekend as Lolla and will have minimal to no overlap as a result.
Father John Misty, Hot Chip, The Good The Bad and The Queen, Patti Smith, Jon Hopkins, and a bunch of other artists that probably wouldn’t have played lolla are now out

Damn was hoping Hot Chip would be on the lineup.

They could still play Thursday of lolla and Sunday of this thing I guess but it does seem unlikely. Maybe pitchfork grabbed them (and Patti Smith?)

Patti Smith seems long overdue for pitchfork

That sucks about Robyn and Bombay Bicycle Club. Also the background video to that website made me motion sick as I tried to read the lineup.

odd speculation but when Livenation posted the dates for the Ticket to Rock thing yesterday, Chevelle was left off the Chicago date. in the comments section, Chevelle responded positively to people speculating they were playing Lolla.
today, the new poster has Chevelle on the Chicago date and Chevelle says yesterday's was just a typo.
kind nothing to read into for a buttrock band at lolla in 2019, but they are playing the European Lollas soooo idk?

Ghost v Radiohead was very tough, but think there’s an obvious answer still...

A band that plays arenas, tours infrequently, and is known for selling out venues almost instantly for $100 a ticket vs. a band that, while good, plays most markets (hell, even Peoria!) for like $40 is a hard choice?
Like I understand I'm at least partially blinded by my love of Radiohead but this seems like a no-brainer if you're a fan of both bands.

If both of them were doing a 2 hour set on headlining stages I honestly don't know what one I'd pick. Ghosts show was the best I saw last year. The crowd at ghost would probably be shit tho. Who knows. Flipping a coin
Back in 2016 I would've picked RH, you right.

Cardi B playing Indianapolis on July 30. I haven't seen any other tour dates...assuming she doesn't release a Chicago date this probably locks her in for Lolla (I'm assuming a radius clause won't apply in this case).
