Like I'd much rather have a screaming kid in front of me than an adult woman who thinks it's cool to take off her shoes and her socks like she's in her gd living room. That's a tough call but I gotta go socks

Do they help with kicking? planes are so much in the category of "i am never seeing these people again" that i will 100% say stuff about this ahhhh, ignoring the anxiety nightmare, bold move.

That's a tough call but I gotta go socks On the plane ride home from Korea a woman touched my elbow with the wettest, worst smelling socked foot I have encountered. I’d take the kid kicking my seat over that experience

I am considering purchasing and wearing a surgical mask for my next flight, am I overreacting?

There are some compelling arguments here and I'm thinking that if I paid for my seat why shouldn't I be allowed to touch people with dirty socks?

I’d take the kid kicking my seat over that experience i think inside an airplane is one of the only times i don't feel compelled to wear sleeveless the breath-ability would be nice but eeeeeeeek the unwanted skin contact

I am considering purchasing and wearing a surgical mask for my next flight, am I overreacting? as long as you know you then legally have to raise your hand if someone calls out "is anyone a doctor on this flight?!?"

I’d say “you don’t see my wife and child sitting there?”

Just take off your shoes and put them on one seat and then take off your socks and put them on the other seat

I'm basically the only person defending kids right to exist on planes in this thread.
#babbyscoots is too adorable to be angry at, unless you're an asshole.

When adults start emitting ear-piercing shrieks on flights I think we should have the option not to fly with them either

Kid in my flight from Colombia to Panama took the syrup that came with his meal, opened it, then threw it across the plane. Got all over multiple rows of people. Also yanked the woman in front of him’s hair and she screamed and called the flight attendant repeatedly. Same kid tried to climb in my lap and I shoved him into the floor. His dad was just sitting there letting him do all this like it didn’t bother anyone. Flight staff asked him repeatedly to control his kid
Same flight the woman in front of me took her kids garbagebfrom his in flight meal.l, put it in the floor in the aisle, and kicked it so it went flying all over the place and made a mess
