Just when you thought Bunbury couldn't get any worse after last year..... This is awful. Only compounded by the fact that the 1975 play in Cincy like 2 weeks before the fest.

I wonder if Rome will pull double duties with Sublime and Stone Temple Pilots

Good to see NF getting prime billing. I've been waiting for the Christian Rap bubble to start in earnest. All of this secular hip hop has run its course.

How in 3 years has this fest gone from Killers, Florence, Mudcrutch w Tom Petty, Tears for Fears, Haim, Ice Cube, Of Monsters and Men, Grimes etc etc to this? Their lineups actually used to be pretty good value for money, but this is such hot garbage.
Worth remembering I guess that Blink 182 was supposed to be on this lineup, but it honestly it wouldn't make it look any better.

Underground Music Showcase is officially coming back in 2019 - last weekend of July. They're adding outdoor stages, so it looks like last year was a financial success. Presale and initial lineup are going to be announced soon.

Surprised there's anything left of the body after 2,000+ years Especially with how much of it is consumed every Sunday.

One interesting thing from the Florence date announcement yesterday is that it appears she’s headlining FORM fest, the one curated by Hundred Waters. I think she’s the first announced headliner for that one. The lineup last year looked really neat, wonder what they’ll bring this year.

That looks fun. Very cool that they’re getting Florence to lead her online book club in person. Also cool that they got Patrice Cullors to speak. She gave a talk a few years ago in Peoria and I went and it was awesome. I’d also like some more Tirzah dates plz

Chicago Open Air emailed me saying you can get 2 Field Passes for $209 with code LOVEROCK until February 15th
i just checked and it is for weekend passes not 1 days, so that's actually a great deal
edit: $230 with fees for 2 GA weekend passes which is still infinitely better than before

I don't understanding their ticketing structure at all.

well the front for both days is allegedly sold out.
when you go to the ticketing site tho it shows the GA map as the entire field sans VIP

i thought i remembered that fest having some decent overlap with lolla but it seems inconsistent over the years. looks like last year had very little.
hozier, kacey, dawes, and st paul would make sense tho?

edit: $230 with fees for 2 GA weekend passes which is still infinitely better than before Still too much IMO.
I'm counting on getting into this thing for nothing.
