There is exactly ZERO ways that this could end in Board disappointment.

I have it on good authority that one of your headliners is Kygo.

28 yr old norwegian dj is not one of my headliners. But is he in the trapper keeper? there's only a couple of djs in the trapper keeper, most from lolla pre-2013: deadmau5, calvin harris, avicii, justice, dj am, fatboy slim, armin vb, kaskade, 2manydjs, frankie knuckles, paul oakenfold, mark farina, dj jazzy jeff, moby, jellybean benitez, major lazer, wolfgang gartner, paul johnson, a-trak, zed's dead, z-trip, green velvet, ron trent, alesso, snails, nervo, and the orb. better half and I saw former lolla headliner bassnectar when he played a dj set as part of an all day festival at lincoln park zoo by the sealion house. I very much doubt that kygo will ever be trapper kept.

But, would you rather be called "dummy" or "dumpy"?

By all indications, Lizzo is headlining Bonnaroo. C3 also saw the crowd she drew at ACL (it was pretty insane Weekend 2) and loves to have noteworthy female headliners at Lolla. She's going to be a North Stage headliner if she plays. All that said, I want to be the fool who continues to hold out a flickering flame of hope for Pearl Jam this year. Ten Club board members who were in the know for the EU tour, say a US tour announcement and a new album are imminent and have been hinting at spring arena dates across the country. Among those hints, they've confirmed an Saint Louis date, and ruled out any stops in Indiana, Detroit or Milwaukee.
Now it's entirely possible that PJ just comes around and plays Wrigley again in August or forgo Chicago entirely, but the cities they're skipping (which would typically fall under Lolla's target radius -- STL is just outside/on the cusp), the timing of the end of their EU run and the tie-into Lolla elsewhere this year makes me think this might be it. Obviously we'll know more when the tour is officially announced. tell me more about this Here's what's been mapped out over at Ten Club. There may be an east coast stop missing, and most of the dates are based off arena availability and indications about order. We should see something official in the next week. Toronto 3/18 Ottawa/QBC 3/20 Ottawa/QBC 3/22 Hamilton 3/24 siriusxm/snl/other? Baltimore 3/28 Siriusxm/snl/other? NYC 3/30 nashville 4/2 St. Louis 4/4 Denver 4/6 phoenix 4/8 LA 1 4/10 LA 2 4/11 San Diego 4/13 Las Vegas 4/15 Oakland 1 4/17 Oakland 2 4/18 No word on their Fall plans post-Europe, but this certainly leaves the door wide open for a Lolla date, election related swing or another mini-ballpark tour. Personally hoping that Baltimore date is off as it's the closest to me, and the only day in March that I have plans I absolutely can't break.

Would be wild if Lolla is the only American Fest that MCR plays. It's shaping up that way after tonight. We'll know more after what's likely to be a slew of festival line-ups come out next week. Mostly I feel bad for Riot Fest potentially missing out, as this has been their dream get for years.

Kendrick Lamar is apparently headlining Osheaga, so that makes him very likely for Lolla as well https://www.reddit.com/r/osheaga/comments/eklreq/likely_confirmed_kendrick_lamar/
