tl;dr genghis will probably be sleeping on my floor with everyone.
(really tho getting a hotel downtown and taking the green line a few stops isn't bad. after the fest, we've had decent luck getting ubers to go to aftershows/bars in the past so you dont have to backtrack)

You might also like Francis and the Lights but its definitely decisive and will depend on how much you like phil collins. Isaiah Rashad and W blood do nothing 4 me and hamilton solo album was boring |

Francis and the Lights Weyes Blood Jeff Rosenstock Isaiah Rashad Hamilton Leithauser Kilo Kish i enjoyed Francis at the coachella preparty but i'm pretty sure it's safe to say it's not your thing. also dunno if Rosenstock is gonna be your thing but he's just an old school punk dude who's kinda worked with everyone. i only know a little Weyes Blood but seems pretty benign and easy enough to get into. if the Walkmen dude's solo stuff sounds like the Walkmen then i probably don't like it but i haven't listened to it. edit: i do, however, hate phil collins |

Kilo Kish was good opening for Vince Staples. There was a video portion and I'm not sure it would as engaging that early in the day at a festival.

Hamilton Leithauser puts on an awesome show. And he made the solo album with Rostam from Vampire Weekend so the sound doesn't have much overlap with The Walkmen.

Listening to the acts I didn't know, Jeff Rosenstock was by far my favourite.
Also, no aftershows for me but I'm definitely doing Piece on Saturday night.

oh man i didnt realize you hadnt heard Jeff before, falco. v much your thing.
also as a forewarning, Piece gets disgustingly packed after 7 or 8 pm on saturdays nowadays. standing and drinking is probably feasible but you may literally wait hours for a table.

Thanks for the heads up on Piece; I seem to recall Saturdays were almost always like that. Yeah, I won't arrive expecting to get a table.
