dave's instagram from yesterday says at today's dirty projectors show at northside in brooklyn they will be "performing the album Dirty Projectors in its entirety for one of probably 2 or 3 times ever." he also says dirty projectors will be himself, nat baldwin, olga bell, mike johnson, percussionist mauro refosco ,and tyondai braxton, along with a "special guest" whose presumably dawn richard. cool that most of the swing lo magellan band will be there. can't wait for pitchfork. https://www.instagram.com/p/BVDaoaeBtW3 |

Was able to change my hotel reservation to start Thursday instead of Friday, so my plan is now to arrive on Thursday. I'm down for whatever the board is doing that night. On the even more plus side, extending my hotel reservation to 4 nights got me a better rate, so it's only costing me 100 dollars more to be in the city an extra day.  |

Could just be an error on Songkick, but they are showing (in addition to the festival) a Ride w/ Ne-Hi show on July 16th. Still says Union Park, so I'm guessing it's just a mistake on the website.

That reminds me, the RSVP for the Thursday night Charles Bradley show opens up on June 28th. Definitely RVSPing to it just in case but I feel like there's a decent chance I skip it if there's a big pre-show with one of the fest acts or a big board meet-up that night
of course though all that free food and free drink at the preoccupations show was super nice so if that's a thing again then that might be hard to pass on
