also, the priests show is all ages, and schubas updated the time for the facebook event to 9-11pm. same with cherry glazerr.
am seriously wondering if it won't be possible to go to those shows unless you skip the headliner that night.

If the headliners really end at 9:50 I think getting to Schubas by 10:10 or so is possible.

That would be quite the hustle.

If you were willing to pay for an Uber it wouldn't take more than 20 minutes to get to Schubas from Union Park. It's basically just a straight shot down Ashland, and there won't be traffic at that time.

I think it would be hard to get out of the park and find an uber, but if folks were willing to head out a little early it would certainly be doable. Just not right after the headliners are done.

I've made it to LH aftershows after staying for most of the headliner and still got to the venue in time for the opener, so I don't think it's a problem either. I drove each time though.

Man I'm really upset to see that LCD aren't doing Home or Losing My Edge. I was crying when they did Home at FYF

They've got their edge back, that's why.

"Home" is my piss break song for LCD. they've cut it from the setlist tho, but I was always disappointed that it stayed over losing my edge when a song needed to go (why have they stopped playing losing my edge? ugh). I like Home fwiw, and would prefer I Can Change get cut. Edit: didn't read the convo so I guess that was already discussed. Regardless, leaving this in-tact for my I Can Change hot-take.

They did Losing My Edge at SK... Maybe Home too? Can't remember. Did they? Setlist.fm says Home but no Losing My Edge.

I almost got it right. I was the same level of drunk at both that show as the Lolla show. Probably opened up some weird memory worm hole.

is he not good at piano or something?
idk considering how much i like his "normal" music or whatever i feel like that'd be a pretty neat thing to experience. but i know nothing about his non-electronic or non-bjork-related work.

It's $35, so

that being said, if anyone is seriously interested, I could probably be convinced. But yikes that's a lot for piano bar jams with Arca

yeah, as far as i know there is no "non-electronic" music. it's going to be piano based arrangements of stuff from his new album, which is definitely unique, and would definitely be neat for $20.

on second thought, his outfit for this gig may be worth the $35 admission price

I was pretty in for that before seeing that it's not a normal show and that price
Still though I wouldn't be completely opposed to going if anyone else wants to but I'm not gonna go to that alone

holds some more value for out-of-towners if it includes museum admission for earlier in the day.
