I went to a WCW show in 1999 for my birthday. got to see Chris Benoit vs. Ric Flair, which was easily MOTN. Bret Hart was there but I don't remember who he faced. Good times.

Which leaves us somewhere in the range of...
RAW: Tier 1: Brock Lesnar (c), Roman Reigns, Samoa Joe, Braun Strowman Tier 2: Jeff Hardy (c), Finn Balor, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Jinder Mahal, Baron Corbin, Bobby Roode Tag Teams: The Bar, The Club, Authors of Pain, Matt Hardy/Bray Wyatt (for now), Titus Worldwide, Dolph + Drew, The Ascension, Breezango

Okay maybe not, Smackdown is a bit thin. The IC title picture, much like the NXT NA Title, is a bit murky with a strong tier 1 but not enough left for tier 2.

Didn't go too crazy? Dude they gutted like 1/2 of the Smackdown roster plus Raw got to add Lashley, McIntyre, AoP and Jose. You forgot Baron Corbin, Chad Gable and Mojo are heading over to Raw as well.
Smackdown I HOPE doesn't get fucked over and get like Jeff Hardy, lower tier talent and maybe ONE decent un-vince-like talent (Balor) to go with Asuka.
What should happen is to Smackdown: Rollins, Balor, Big Cass, returning Dean Ambrose, Anderson/Gallows, SAnitY, Andrade Almas, The Miz and Asuka.
If you see the crappy former list (ie- Jeff Hardy) go to Smackdown, then I'd expect an announcement over the next 4-6 months that FOX bought WWE programming rights and Smackdown will move to the Tier-2 FS1 whereas Raw will move to FOX prime time.
Yeah I was about to post that. Not a good start. However, Big Cass is there too, so maybe Jeff is just going to hold the title until they give it to who they want to push? (Would love Balor vs Cass for awhile, or RUSEV FOR CRYIN OUT LOUD!!!!)
Ok so I reached out to a fox programming rep (I worked for one of their affiliates for a LONG time) and he says the chances FOX buys WWE programming is "Close To Zero". Asked about the rumors and he called them "hilarious". He's paid to pimp programming way ahead of it's debut. They also did promotion for MyNetwork and we knew about Smackdown going there waaaay in advance.

Annual May-Dec removal of the network from my cable subscription...
Didn't watch Backlash but it smells like they managed to botch AJ/Shinsuke and the crowd shat on Roman once again. Hearing Rollins/Miz was fantastic though.

rollins/miz was the best match of the night, bayley/woobie wiot on the pre-show was the second best, third best was ellias' skit

Hate that they had Joe/Roman close the show over Aj/Nakamura. It’s a joke they consider that match in any way more important than a match for the most prestigious title in wrestling.
