Lolla’s biggest downfall the last 3-4 years have been their subs and the lines under them. Every year I’m shocked at how bad they are. This year has a couple acts I like so that’s nice.

Imagine instead of Noah Kahan, they had Korn there instead. This festival needed to keep the nu metal. I am generally fine with the line-up, but it's definitely missing an odd ball throwback booking or two. How have we not gotten a Nelly or Ludacris set yet? I guess 30 Seconds to Mars can be labeled the emo-ish act (ala Dashboard and JEW), but I don't like that choice. The randomness of acts like Chevelle and Limp Bizkit was so fun, could have used a little more of that. |

altho I do not see babytron am I just missing the name Nope, not on the line-up despite being in the game. I also have the theory that Paramore was on the line-up at some point and dropped off. Their tour openers Foals and the Linda Lindas both being there and their tour routing ending just before the fest is too weird. It would help explain why TxT is inexplicably back and headling as well. My guess is they initially agreed but at some point decided Riot was what they really wanted to do (for any number of reasons). Now if Paramore isn't at Riot either, I will be thoroughly stumped. |
