My favorite thing so far this speculation thread is that bosma might've actually called the Billy Joel thing.
Like Red Hot Chili Peppers*Kendrick Lamar*Billy Joel* Billie Ellish is not a ridiculous top 4 for this fest in 2023 I feel like
Edit: Upon google for Billy Joel just now I see a bunch of headlines of him covering "Werewolves of London" so I have no choice but to be aboard the piano man train if that's a thing he's gonna do in his sets

I keep thinking that it hasn’t been that long since RHCP played this and there’s no way they would book them and then realize it has been 7 years since the last lollapalooza they played.
I also agree they will probably not book two stadium sized acts this year

I think giving him 2 hours to plow through the hits for the folks in the audience there with their kids while those kids see whatever is on the TikTok makes sense |
