Did Ruido Fest used to use Douglas Park? Because they just moved to the Chicagoland Fairgrounds in little village for this year I think it was in the park that was closer to Pilsen, like Adams or something like that? Edit: What nana said

I think ruido used adams-medill park on 14th street about 3 blocks east of ashland for the last couple of years (I think that's more pilsen than little village, tho). I just looked it up, the past three were 3 day festivals at union Park. This year looks like they scaled it back to 2 days

What's the groupthink here on Frankie Goes to Hollywood for Riot Fest?
I was at the November 1984 show at the Bismarck...probably still have the Frankie Say T-Shirt buried somewhere.

Reddit is saying Foo Fighters and QOTSA will be headliners.

That implies that either Paramore or the Gibbard Experience is out

My guess is that Paramore was booked for lolla and something fell through, whether it was a billing issue or something else, and then they later booked that Milwaukee show with nothing in Chicago

That implies that either Paramore or the Gibbard Experience is out Well, DCFC could definitely close out one of the other stages against Foos or QOTSA. And Paramore could be headliner 3, unless we really are stuck with Pantera

Foos, QotSA and Pantera seems too heavy for Riot Fest and somewhat off-brand. shrug
Also, 2 of 3 headliners being various levels of problematic is a vibe

And Paramore could be headliner 3, unless we really are stuck with Pantera I assumed DCFC and Postal Service would be like a subheadliner/headliner pairing with a band playing between them on the opposite stage. Could Paramore be a headliner on one of the other stages?

Yeah I'm not sure where we're pulling Pantera from exactly. I know they announced those shows but that feels like a long ass time ago

Is Billy Joel still playing this, since he isn't at Lolla?

Presale starting at $179 seems a lot higher than usual And the ticket page confirms Douglas Park I think it's right around what it was pricewise, they might have had a $159 price that was gone immediately in the presales in past years. This year's ticket includes free arcade games!
