They posted another video with Corky Siegel playing harmonica, but I can't tell what song he is doing I am too young to have seen Siegel-Schwall Blues Band on their first incarnation, but did see Siegel half a dozen times solo or with his solo band around town, especially playing in Evanston. Once did catch the now late Jim Schwall's country band (he had moved to Iowa or somewhere near after the breakup) when it played Chicagofest. Did eventually see the Siegel-Schwall Blues Band once when they re-united and played the Chicago Blues Festival, or Taste of Chicago, or whatever. I haven't watched the riot fest video yet, but I assume it's Corky's biggest hit, "Hey Billie Jean." But.... here's a story I haven't had occasion yet to tell: back in the late1960's, when Siegel-Schwall was still together, the older son of my mom's best friend one day yelled to his mom while she was upstairs with the TV on, and he was downstairs, that he was heading out to see the Siegel-Schwall band...she responded, "did you say you were going to see [my real first and last name]?" Her two sons, and, me eventually, had a good laugh over her misperception. |

How the fuck is Riot Fest going to sell out immediately in this fuckin city tomorrow
They literally couldn't give tickets away five years ago and now it's gonna be $280 for a dang 3 day pass
Good for them tho, they look happy and healthy
