I kinda like the idea of not being in the park for this until at least 2 most days

That's fair. And I do feel like I could make a day out of Sunday.

I have seen Melkbelly so many times so while the idea of seeing them again is nice my laziness will probably win out there

This Heat v. Blood Orange is a killer conflict.
That being said, the rumors of P4K Fest's death have been greatly exaggerated. It doesn't live up to past lineups, and the headliners (Lauryn Hill exempted) aren't super inspired, but there's a host of incredible music on this bill for what I imagine will be under-face-value tickets on the secondary market. Paul Cherry > KAS > CDY > Moses Sumney > Raphael Saadiq > This Heat/Blood Orange > WOD is a wickedly good day of music - as is a Friday where you can bounce from Melkbelly > Dacus > Josh Abrams > Saba > Julien > Big Thief/Earl > Courtney.
I feel bad for those who paid face for this, but anyone who actually goes to this fest is going to have a great time.

very happy this heat will be on the blue stage.
i also imagine julien baker on the blue is better than competing for attention on one of the main stages, though that kind of act pretty much never works at p4k no matter what so best of a bad situation i guess. almost certainly will see syd anyway tho.

Pretty crazy/impressive that the red and green stages on Sunday are exclusively made up of people of color.
I will not be going to this unless I can somehow find a Saturday ticket for <$20, and even then I'll just be there for Fleet Foxes.

Man they really fucked up the schedule friday which was previously the only day I would go. This is where I am at. To be fair, the day is pretty stacked, but OME and Saba overlapping pushed me into the "skip" camp. :/ Also, as previously mentioned, Blood Orange vs. TinTH conflict is brutal. I feel like a true Cubs fan here, but..... "There's always next year...."

I still plan on going assuming I can get a cheap enough ticket.

Joshua Abrams & Natural Information Society on one of the main stages with nothing else going on is one of the funniest things.

There will also probably be a run of contests leading up to the fest, so I'm in no rush.

I guess Saturday's not bad, but these are all brutal: Lucy Dacus v. Julie Byrne OME v. Saba Julien Baker v. Syd Earl v. Big Thief Courtney Barnett v. Mount Kimbie Zola Jesus v. KAS Circuit des Yeux v. Moses Sumney at least there's a high likelihood of aftershows for several of these

It is sad that the Philadelphia date of Lauryn Hill's tour is a better lineup than Sunday of Pitchfork (Lauryn Hill, MIA, Busta Rhymes, Tierra Whack, a new Marley that they have found somehow.
