Can you just name a band whatever you want? Surely Star Tropics has to be trademarked, right? I've never thought about that outside of that Saint Pepsi guy having to change his name.

Also an issue if they’re capitalizing on a mark’s renown and goodwill. I don’t know what Star Tropics is in either case, though.
