I have a designated pair of festival shoes and a cheap poncho at the ready for situations such as this. As long as the bands are playing, I plan on being there.

last pitchfork fest day I attended was with Beck headlining. do we still have "camp" in the same place, because I have a new folding chair I bought from the Jewels for less than $10. yes, camp will be in the same place... but new for this year... chairs are banned edit: now that i'm caught up with the thread... it took me forever to find a bag that fits their guidelines and it's just barely big enough for the camp blanket, a poncho and two bottles of water... but it's not really big enough to put a record in... so how are people going to shop the record fair if they can't bring in bags big enough to carry their vinyl in? |

I know that almost every fest has changed their policies this year to be more restrictive about bag sizes, but have any of them actually enforced these rules? I know at the two fests I’ve been to I saw plenty of people with bags well outside the posted limits, and I haven’t heard many (any?) actual complaints about people not being able to bring in larger bags

To be fair post, I liked your little bag you had at homecoming I like it too! But by the rules on their site I can’t bring it because it has a second pocket? Or just cuz it’s a backpack? It actually does fit the size dimensions, unlike basically every drawstring bag I’m sure it’s fine and they’re just trying to scare people into bringing smaller bags. But it’s just annoying to me, an anxious weirdo |
