Not sure if this is the right place to put this but the owners of Permanent Records (who have a shop in LA) are not renewing their lease and if no one buys it from them, they're closing their Chicago shop. Picked up some good things there over the years and met Wayne Coyne a few years back.

I got my copy of the new Tobacco album Ripe and Majestic yesterday and got a shipping notification for the NIN definitive editions I ordered however many months ago (Broken, The Downward Spiral, and replaced my original copy of The Fragile that I recently sold).
Anyone get the NIN albums yet? Apparently they come with new inserts with some "making-of" information for each album?

yeah it's like a mechanical "owners manual" style of liner notes which is really cool.
there's some hidden messages in there too referring to downward spiral lyrics and some with teeth stuff as well.

I received my copies of TDS and Broken last night. Both arrived in excellent condition and both are really pretty. I haven't had a chance to review the books that came with them but they looked cool. The B side of the Broken vinly has a spiral of words that are supposed to look hand done which is really cool. The Fragile and NTAE are in transit from NJ right now so hopefully those arrive before the weekend and I can be done with Sandbag (until Trent releases the rest of his catalog).
