As for the weather I was in a warm hoodie and shorts and felt fine. The 6 beers before/during and the redacted probably helped too

show was amazing, rules that they do a 2.5 hour set and play as much as they can. diplomat's son and jerusalem/ny/berlin were soooo good.
pretty much the only two songs i was really pining for that they didnt do were i think yr a contra and stranger.

I am feeling like I should've gone even though I don't love VW? Its definitely worth catching at some point. I’m not sure of the cult following we seem to have on here but like I said, I’m on an island on this one

I've seen VW about 13 times and yesterday's show ranks as one of the best times. Would have liked some #rare songs (Ezzy did a snippet of "Pizza Party" this past week and really wanted to hear the "I'm Goin Down cover), but definitely not complaining. At this point though, I cringe every time I hear "A-Punk" so getting it twice wasn't a highlight. Everything else was great though! Thanks again Pale Hose for snagging me a ticket in the pre-sale!

While I think they are a better studio band with Rostam, the shows with the current lineup are better than anything they ever did with him.

It’s pretty cool that northerly recreated a shitty festival experience with none of the charm of an actual festival out on the lawn The space is really nice but it's so poorly run. Someone needs to @ elizabeth warren and get live nation in the antitrust crosshairs.

What was the stage set-up like? Any giant backdrops or props?
I only ask because their September MSG show has insane Stubhub prices rn for everything, BUT you can sit behind the stage for like $35, which I imagine will get a bit lower in the coming months. Worth or nah? I really wanna just hear these new songs, have seen them twice reasonably close at Lolla so I wouldn't be that broken up about just seeing their backs for 2.5 hours. But would rather not be staring at the back of a screen.

This was legit one of my favorite shows I’ve ever been to. Love VW and knew it would be good but it was so much better than I ever imagined. Never thought they would play two and a half hours or jam that hard. I honestly think that band is positioning itself as a multi generational arena headliner. Plus Lil Chi got to experience her first Walcott mosh pit.

I thought he was terrific when I saw him last year. But I agree with the previous posts about this iteration of VW being a better live band than the original lineup. Still hope Rostam returns for the next LP though.
