I thought that was my 'Travis Scott' memory. I was there when that happened. (Kind of, anyway) I saw him do his first song and then I left. Then he said what he said.

I’d be surprised if he wasn’t there. So we’re thinking north end headliner for him, probably opposite Arctic Monkeys. Is he any good live? I sorta like his album material I really enjoyed the set I saw from him at D4N 2016 and only heard good things from my friends who saw him open for Kendrick last year. Take with a grain of salt as I am a shameless huge fan of a lot of bad rap.

I thought his D4N set wasn't that good, but I feel like I say that about a lot of rap artists that aren't Kendrick or Vince or Danny

That's awesome. I love the Wombats, they put on a super fun set, last time at Lolla they got the noon Sunday crowd at the Lake Shore stage dancing their asses off ... what I imagine is one of the hardest time slots of the weekend.

I saw them a few weeks ago doing an abbreviated acoustic set (radio show) and they were pretty good. And not to blaspheme, but they (acoustically) sounded a lot like Frank Turner.

Portugal. the Man just announced more tour dates, which makes Lolla look pretty obvious. NY on August 1st, then a break until August 8th at Red Rocks. www.portugaltheman.com/woodstock

I would say every single band on that lineup is suspect, so that's what I put it under

If we could get CHVRCHES, Margo Price, Tash Sultana and Nathaniel Rateliff I'd be stoked. CHVRCHES surely is a lock because they're doing a lot of Europe festivals, and I'm sure Lolla money (and probably Osheaga) is probably the only thing to bring them back that weekend.

Blackberry Smoke is a little bit more southern buttrock than is typically comfortable for Lolla, but if they start going that route Im onboard

which thread are we putting bands who are confirmed as not playing?
30 seconds to mars is playing northerly island in june with MisterWives and Joywave (which is sad because i was hoping for joywave at lolla this year)

I think the precedent has been set that opening for a band within the thinly enforced radius clause doesn't really disqualify you.

Mostly uninteresting but with the standard underplay spring Riv date and 8/1 NY show I'm expecting Lord Huron here.
Lord Huron being able to more of less instantaneously sell out the Riv is a bit surprising but here we are

That’s good news since I didn’t want to pay Riv prices to see Lord Huron. Guessing they will be a 4:00 main or Lakeshore closer.

So per TMZ Cardi was 3-4 months pregnant as of the Super Bowl. Maybe she's not playing this?

Shit, that would probably preclude her from most of the fests she’s booked for

I wonder if her not being able to perform at a ton of shows and festivals when she is peaking will impact her career

"The rep then told the staffer Cardi was 3 to 4 months pregnant."
such a weird thing to tell a random staffer at a superbowl event

Sometimes when you know a secret you just gotta tell it. When my sister found out she was pregnant and we weren’t telling extended family and friends yet, my dad told the lady drawing his blood at the doctors office because she’s bound by HIPPA and he couldn’t hold the secret in much longer. Random staffer seemed safe at the time, but they should have gone for a team doctor

Reddit guy says Brockhampton is happening, with some mild confirmation from the group themselves.

Would Brockhampton be too big to close the Grove? Or could they close Perry's while Odesza closes the North?
