This actually looks reasonably well thought out given the situation? Looks like I'll be doing the shuttle from Cobra Lounge...not too shabby. This also tells us that the fest runs til 11:15pm on Fri/Sat and 10:30pm on Sun. It doesn't look like it costs less to get a three day shuttle pass than it does to get three one-day passes, so I feel like it makes sense to get three one-day, so I can individually adjust the pickup times based on the schedule (provided they release the schedule before the Sept 1st deadline for changing pickup times). I do wonder how much of a mess it will be leaving the fest based on grabbing a bus at the end of the night. I assume they will have to have enough buses to accommodate everyone that bought a pass, but I feel like more detail on departure times would have been helpful. |

Another interesting detail to glean from the shuttle info is that they still appear to be planning to have aftershows at venues in the city, as several of the pick-up/drop-off points are noted as official aftershows venues.

the only act on the lineup poster above the Marleys that I want to see is rob zombie, so for at least 2 of the 3 days, I might not want to wait until 8 pm to leave on a shuttle, so I'll likely drive and park on those days.

Yeah, it would be nice to be able to select different spots for pickup and drop-off locations. If you do a 3 day it has to be the same timeslot, as well. I know we will have to go later on Friday since we won't even get to Chicago until about 1:30, but I'm not waiting until 3pm every day for the shuttle. At least, like you said, there doesn't seem to be an upcharge for buying single days instead of 3-day passes. |

Saturday is fantastic.
Sunday is all about the metal. 🤘🏻
Friday has some really good early to mid stuff. Later in the day will hang out at the NOFX stage probably.
Overall, pretty happy. Bracing for the brutal Saturday conflicts, though.

Friday I care most about the Marleys, Monterrey Mexico's The Warning, and The Exploited. Saturday, The Hives, Basement, DOA, and Verboten. The most bands this old school metalhead needs to see at the fest are on Sunday: Rob Z, Something Corp, (maybe) Lamb of God, Tierra, The Vandals, Strung Out, Swingin' Utters, Saxsquatch.
edit: I bought my ticket before the price went up a month and a half ago, so I'm not worried about getting value for my dollar.

It's too bad that the Marleys are on Friday instead of Saturday, because I could probably convince the better half to go that day (after seeing whether or not the driving and parking thing is a disaster on Friday). Well, I hope she'll like drug church and pixel grip.

Meme Rap is about the best description I could give, lol... He was also my youngest sons first real concert during his Cowboy Tears era. So just know that 6 year olds love him. That said, unless he's up against Sublime or something I'll be there, haha.
