I ain't mad at the new layout this year. Works pretty well actually.
Barely any cell signal for me at 2:00 already
Don't think there are fee alcohol samples anywhere unfortunately

nanafish tentative, semi-random schedule for tomorrow assuming my knees hold up: action/adventure -> winona fighter -> exploited -> Polaris -> the warning -> poison the well -> spiritual cramp -> tornillo -> drug church, and if I am not completely dead tired by then -> suicidal tendencies -> souls of mischief -> Cypress Hill -> PE -> Marleys. s.t, Cypress Hill, PE, and 3/5 of the Marleys are in the trapper keeper, so they're not as high priority as the earlier acts. The hot weather and complete lack of shade took a toll on us, as we got there too early today (we didn't stop for lunch at Panera as I sometimes do on my own), and I and the better half only made it thru the sets of action/adventure -> winona fighter -> the exploited -> Polaris -> the warning. The warning and Winona fighter were really good, and Polaris was really bad. |

New layout is decent. Otherwise it's the same old Riot Fest. They were assembling the accessible viewing platform at the Radical stage while I was watching Spiritual Cramp at about 3pm. And even with t e number of tickets they gave away it was not noticably more empty than usual.

Curious about the will call line considering the flood of comps I suggest looking all the way to the left as you approach. There were two agents essentially behind a tree. If you can squeeze around the tree (I did, and I'm not tiny), you'll likely be alone with them. |

One thing I'll say despite the flood of free tickets we have gotten, that was a pretty decently large crowd yesterday, especially for a Friday. Didn't have to wait for food or bathrooms though

Yeah, when we were trying to make our way to the deluxe viewing area during the Offspring the crowd was all the way to the tents. I don't remember ever having to fight that hard through the crowd to get over by the Porto potties before.

People seemed packed in tighter in that crowd than usual...I recall even being able to get some breathing room closer to the stage at MCR than during FOB last night. |
