I thought the drizzle during Rob Zombie and Slayer was kind of refreshing. The weather totally fine from mastodon onwards.
Seemed like it could be a nightmare of a day but all things considered it was very nice.

Saw five acts over two days and had a good time. Everything I ate was great. Probably some of the best crowds I've been in in terms of people not being annoying or pushing. Highlight was leaving the fest Saturday after Pavement and getting a seat on an uncrowded regularly scheduled California bus without having to wait.

- riot land is dumb as fuck, and I miss having that stage right there - for the love of god they need a water station by the main stages 100% on both of these. i don't mind rise/radical being next to each other, but that stage in the back corner was a good chillout spot and actually had some shade. and it's always been extremely dumb to have food and water on opposite sides of the park. i get it in the sense that you are forced to buy drinks from the food vendors. but my friend's girlfriend went for a water run when we were at the nofx stage and she was gone for at least half of D4's set. that could've been 5 minutes. At one point they had a water station at the very south end of the food row but I think they moved the backstage fence and took it over. And I actually didn't miss the small stage. Riot land was dumb but I think I soured on that stage last year when they booked Sleep Token and ICP on it.

I am curious if they will keep the same layout next year and, if so, whether the NOFX stage will just be a random fifth stage or if they will build the stage around another band or theme.
