Already sold out for those dates ..maybe some people knew something we didn't? very amused at the idea of riot fest blocking a hampton inn for every act on the lineup. bumping into kerry king at the breakfast waffle station would be sick

on the one hand, I do not relish driving to bridgeview 3 days in a row, (maybe I could handle a case in the 5th division courthouse on friday morning so I'm down there already).
On the other hand, I used to drive all the time to humboldt, but have never chanced driving my car to douglass, so I would not be too much opposed to the fest being relocated to bridgeview, and I'd be willing to pay the 25 or 40 to be able to drive home in my own car after the fest.

A recent reddit post: "A fun fact is that city documents are public records, including permit applications for festivals through the Chicago Park District. The Douglass Park permit for this year is listed as tentative but “in good standing.” The Park District Board of Commissioners has a meeting scheduled on June 12 which is when they’ll likely approve it (it was approved in June in previous years). The festival isn’t moving, y’all."
Can someone tell me if ths matters? Lol

I think it’s probably time to start reading into things, pulling permits from the county websites, freaking the fuck out, etc

With the shot he took at the Chicago Park District my guess is the fest is leaving city limits.

it's always a really good sign when a concert decides to make up a name for its new venue instead of just telling people where it's going to be

it's always a really good sign when a concert decides to make up a name for its new venue instead of just telling people where it's going to be Because nobody will buy tickets tomorrow when they find out its in Tinley Park Unless they do it at The Cell, which is vacant Tuesday to Tuesday this year

Oz park? Oz in the background of the video. Zero chance Lincoln Park would allow a festival there. Also, he wouldn't have called out the Chicago Park District if they were just moving to a different park in the city.

the Oz means It's prob at Oz Park that's why they renovated the playground and added bike lanes. they are bringing back Riot Fest Speaks at the Diary Queen across the street

Oz park? Oz in the background of the video. There's no way that shit will fly in Lincoln Park lol Also, the pretty direct shot at the Park District probably rules out any public space in Chicago
