I'll be there Friday for Matthew Sweet. don't care about matthew sweet. I'll be there on Friday for Steve Wynn and the reunited Dream Syndicate to do "Tell Me When It's Over." First heard it on a Slash records compilation with los lobos, gun club, and a bunch of others.
He may have done it when he opened for the Continental Drifters as a solo artist at I think, the Empty Bottle, but I just don't remember.

(Bruce is playing solo on the Sunday night show) that sucks as they are the only act i kinda cared about on that whole lineup -- but it's still free booze for a good cause so i will still be pregaming there both days anyway. |

Yeah that Dark Matter thing was really cool and then I walked over to Westfest to see Shame and not only was that set awesome but that crowd fucking ruled.

Ok so the Dark Matter thing yesterday was my first street fest in the city of Chicago are they all that cool Usually the beer and food are not free, but street fests in summer are part of what makes this city so great. |
