The universe didn't make it easy though with Morehead State and potential matchups with BYU, Iowa State and freakin' UConn in Boston. Every game is gonna be like 100-98

i am so ready to watch purdue eat shit again this year, but even i - the biggest purdue naysayer i am aware of - think they're pretty untouchable until the elite 8. i have them falling to tennessee (but still up in the air on my tennessee/creighton sweet 16 pick. i think creighton could pull it off, but a guy used to work for me that i now hate was named creighton and i just cant bring myself to keep rooting for them)
i've got samford over KU in what I don't even think is that egregious of an upset
gonzaga seems extremely hit or miss this year. i don't think they'll fall to mcneese but it'd be awesome if they did. the zags could be purdue's only real threat before the elite 8 if they start heating up.
basically i am very excited to watch the midwest region this year.
i'd looove to see UNC lose to st marys but i think the east/west final four matchup is likely to be the 1-seeds. duke and tennessee/creighton on the other side...i don't think houston can hang through the whole tournament. they played like absolute shit against iowa state in the big 12 final.
i was gonna do like 4 separate regional breakdowns w/ thoughts but idk the bracket seems really chalky this year? seems pointless. even the 12-5s don't look that good (although i'll go james madison over wisco). also took new mexico over clemson who i think are overrated.
can't wait for everyone's brackets to be toast by friday.

I have zero confidence in Kentucky which means this is the year they win it all.

I was debating about changing it from yahoo this year, I've just used that since the board fantasy hockey league has been on there. Does anyone have a preference for another site, or just keep it there? The ESPN tournament challenge website and app are good the ESPN site is "experiencing technical difficulties" when I try to set up a new group in there. Does someone else want to try? We could also possibly have the yahoo group for the free tourney, and set up the ESPN one for those who want to play for cash possibly? |
