I think I'd probably rather listen to the hoobastank oeuvre for eternity but hey there Delilah is the better song of the two and practically I think it would be less distracting if played on a loop for the rest of my life

I played the 2nd most popular song by both act on Apple Music and can 100% confirm id rather listen to hoobastank forever, but stick to my initial song to song answer

rango at the back of a hoobastank show with his arms crossed during "The reason" because they could've used that slot for another deep cut

I voted The Reason. I never minded hearing it when I was younger and it was new but also wasn't really hanging out in places where I could clock it as a constant annoyance as much as I could Hey There Delilah
I would've voted HTD if it was just hearing either song one time, but I think I would start looking for ways to end it after only a few days of HTD
If there was an option to select Delilah the radio personality, I would choose that

I didn’t recall The Reason until I listened to it now. Went with HTD, which, in retrospect, might be a bad idea?

Having worked at a department store and a bank that used a similar music service (including a day where whatever system they used was broken and I heard Hey There Delilah 8 times in a workday), I think they should shoot all of the Plain White T’s into the sun. I would actually prefer that they let me do it.

Both these songs suck but The Reason sucks less I think.

I don’t know either of these songs by name. I’m kinda of curious if I’ll recognize them when I hear them, but I also don’t want to sully my ear holes on this dreary Saturday afternoon.

Curiosity got the best of me. I recognize Hey There Delilah. If I have ever heard The Reason before I don’t remember it. Both songs are dumb and skippable, but also pretty easy to ignore. Kind of weird that a band named Hoobastank would make such an earnest song.
If someone really wanted to torture me for eternity with music it would be either that fucking Barenaked Ladies Chinese chicken song or the Kars for Kidz jingle.

One person's bliss may be my personal hell. I went with HTD, because listening to that might be a better level of hell.

The only time I display quickness is to mute the Kars 4 Kids jingle.

Plain White Ts were the first band I saw live with my own money (opening for Lucky Boys Confusion) and I absolutely played Hey There Delilah at my wedding.

Holy shit you’d never (knowingly) heard the reason?? That’s like when I said I’d never heard that New Radicals song before. And sorry but I went Plain White Ts - both because I was like 12 when this song was big and because OOOOOOHHHHH IT’S WHAT YOU DO TO MEEEEEEEE

I think it’s a net positive for me in this instance.

Delilah is less offensive to me. Maybe because in the couple years between The Reason and Delilah I was finding more music on my own and found it easier to avoid stuff I wasn't into. I got really really sick of hearing The Reason all the time.
