Is there a way to add shortcuts/navigate back to the main page(s) on mobile? I feel like I keep having to use the back button.

Unfortunately, with the current version of ProBoards, the mobile design is set in stone.
That said, I find myself using the desktop layout on my phone a lot, and it generally works fine.
