Meh.
But hey I live within driving distance so I’ll probably end up there.

Kind of Astonishingly bad. With the exception of patti smith all the good bands will be over by 2 pm

I wish there was one more must see on this lineup.
my trip that I was going to take during this is likely off so maybe ill go. but i think I've decided to wait on other fests around this time to get announced

I wish there was one more must see on this lineup. That's kind of how I'm feeling, it's not as instantly compelling to me as '18. That said, currently between this and Shaky Knees, this is winning.

I was really hoping for SVE, Phoebe Bridgers, and/or Hop Along/Frances. It's ok as it is, but I'll probably wait a while before making plans.

I like that lineup, but not enough to travel for it.

They’re 4 or 5 acts short of what was on there last year, and the previous additions were Mouse on Mars and Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith, so I have hopes for a couple good adds here

Nice to see Phos will be active next year, tho his fanbase doesn't need to get any more annoying pls

Wussy, who I saw a couple of yrs ago at a bucktown fest in a park, is a spinoff of Cincinnati 90s band the Assponys, who opened for the Afghan Whigs when I saw them at the Vic. And they're pals with the former leader of Cincinnati 90s band Lazy, who has a real name similar to mine, and who I saw at Lounge Ax on a bill w/ defunct Chicago band the Prescriptions, who shared at least one member w/ defunct Chicago band Evil Beaver.

I made a "wishlist" for this fest when I was bored at work last week, as I was increasingly thinking of going. The only act who ended up on the real lineup is Phosphorescent...
RIP to my "Sufjan Stevens / Angel Olsen / SVE / Bonnie Prince Billy / Bill Callahan / Phoebe Bridgers / Perfume Genius / Moses Sumney" dream festival.
As it is, High Violet + Patti Smith is pretty sick, but the rest of this lineup isn't strong enough to make me want to travel for it

So I'm like 85% in for this, might book a flight within the next week. My Europe plans got cancelled and despite the kind of weak lineup I'm rationalizing it that I'd probably consider flying out anyway for two unique National sets even if it wasn't a fest

Dang, was hoping we'd get an add or two to the official lineups with the dailys, but I guess not.
None of the Musicnow shows feel like must attends but there's a few interesting ones

Did they ever say that the fest would be starting later on Friday, as appears to be the case? I guess that explains why they never added the 2 extra acts I was expecting

I’m ok feeling the way I do about MusicNow since I got a huge discount on flights by not picking an itinerary for the days I fly. As a result I leave Cinci at 6 am on Sunday and I really didn’t feel like paying to change that
