This poll was originally going to be Green Day v. Blink-182, but I figured half of you would vote for Paramore anyway so here we go.
Please remember to tell me what bands I should've picked in the comments below!

I went with Green Day but I could have just as easily gone with Paramore on a different day. I enjoy both artists enough, but not enough to pay what it costs to see them live in 2018

I went with Paramore. I originally intended to come in here and say that I don't like either, but I didn't want to just say that without voting.

I know I am #old, but I have never really listened to Paramore. Green Day, but I would have voted blink if you did the original poll.

Blink are closer to being contemporaries of Green Day, this is a rigged system Tweet. We already did FOB vs Paramore a while back so I already know who here's got the dumb opinions.

yeah i dont see the similarity for the most part.
but green day is probably one of the only pop punk bands that i've consistently liked for the most part over the years so i'd be voting for them over most of their contemporaries anyway.

Paramore has good songs, Green Day has good albums.

I care so little about either band, but I marginally cared about Green Day a little more. That said, I probably have more respect for Paramore? I haven't put too much thought into that so please don't ask.

Green day have made good songs 25 yeas ago and also the single worst album ever made
Paramore have not made the worst album ever made. therefore the answer is simple

Radio pop punk always polls well on this board so nothing here should be surprising. The board's enduring fascination with My Chemical Romance has always puzzled me, but hey, whatever floats your boat.

how do y'all not see the similarity between green day and paramore? it's 2 milestone bands in the timeline of pop punk sure but they're vastly far apart as far as a timeline goes. granted they're both still putting out new stuff today, but green day has a myriad of top rated works from the 90's for people to take into consideration while Paramore is essentially a Fueled By Ramen band recently gone indie (not meant as an insult) it's just a weird comparison instead of say, GD vs Blink or Paramore vs Panic, which would at least be comparing similar demographics and discographies.

Green Day has released one good album within the timeframe of Paramore's entire career. Hayley Williams was 5 when 'Basket Case' was topping the charts. This matchup is bad.
