Followed neader, went back to my homepage, saw the juxtaposition of Neader's 2.5 star Stalker rating and all of the other pretentious film reviews/ratings I follow and I started laughing so hard I wheezed. I accept any options that break the site's circlejerk

I mean it was good I just wish there was more dialogue to drive it home. One is lead by reason, the other by emotion, and the stalker himself is allegedly altruistic in helping others. At the end they decide to not go in because people don't know what they truly want (Porcupine) and ultimately greed corrupts? Did I get that right?

the less dialogue the better, the images and editing in that movie are so striking.. what you described is one of the ideas, yeah, but there's just so much to the film that's entrancing and good.

It's so good and James Spader is a national treasure.
Turbine Media supervised a brand-new 4K transfer, restoring the scenes that were cut for an R rating, that is supposed to premiere this fall.

I think Gus van Sant's Elephant is my favorite, and I'd be willing to make the case that Funny Games counts since, even though there are plenty of lines, it's almost all just one person.

yeah i'd probably say Funny Games would qualify since the family barely ever gets to speak

I've always found it kind of weird that the American remake kept the awkward original title instead of just using the more-familiar English Fun and Games.

Watched Portrait of a Lady on Fire last night. Definitely wished I'd seen it on the big screen, I think that would have added a lot. I found the B plot with the maid almost more intriguing than the central storyline, which ultimately didn't do much for me until the final scene.

Wall E is the fucking worst. Almost as bad as people who make a list of 10 for something that requires at least 25 items.

Pale Hose can you think of at least 25 movies you've liked that came out between 2010 and 2019 and would you consider putting them in list form?

I can. That's going to require some time and effort, which I have plenty of these days. Let me go back and look at the guidelines I haven't really been following this thread.
