Sorry guys, I just finished Dunkirk and thought it was boring. I must be out of touch bc I didn't connect with any of it's supposed emotion. Sorry wretched  dafuq? can i like, not get treated as the bane of your existence anymore? |

anybody else have issues with sound at the Music Box? Last time I was there for Lost City of Z the sound was so muffled you couldn’t understand dialogue for half the movie.

Just didn't resonate with me like it has with some. |

I think that's fair. Nolan isn't great with human emotions but I think technically it is good-looking and interesting movie.

Still want to see Three Billboards (has anyone seen it?)

Rockwell is very good but I do think Dafoe or even Jenkins deserve it more. The problem is that I'm sure voters think of Rockwell's character arc as a more dynamic showcase, and the problem with that is the whole controversy centers on that perceived arc. So I have no idea who the Academy will go with.

3 Billboards ... was very good if you can get past most of the lack of consequences for their bad actions. 1. the assault on the dentist
2. throwing the advertising kid out a window
3. burning down the police station
4. assaulting high school kids
