Honestly if I didn’t have to buy an extra battery and memeory cards I’d have bought this sucker an hour ago but I’m going to be living out of a rental car while driving the coast and need extra things. I hate having to spend another 100+ on this bullshit.

An extra battery is key.
And while the lenses that come with the kit are nice I'd upgrade to a 50mm prime (or a 35mm if you're going to be doing more portraity stuff). The f/1.8 aperture helps tremendously in lower light.

Those are some nice works and numbers that I don’t understand but eventually will take into account.
I got an extra battery and three memory boys. Watch out, Instagram.

Really happy I got the camera. Since I had a total of 4 hours to learn how to use it before my trip, I just took a shit ton of photos thinking one or two might accidentally be good. I ended up with a few dozen that I really like and got some compliments from a photo friends! Excited to keep learning how to work this machine.

Does anyone have any Chicago artists they really dig? Thinking about putting up a bunch of prints from a Chicago-based street artists in my basement. I have stuff from Sentrock, Rello, and JC Rivera that I’m about to get framed.

This is where 3D prints would go, yes?
(Say yes, so I have somewhere to post my prints.)

1. Logo redesign 2. Upcoming single/album art 3. Music video (I am lusting after animation more than anything)
Paying monies. Y'all probably know some peoples.

What are you looking for in your album artwork - something more illustrative, or conceptual / designed? I see both styles on your Spotify (and they both look great)

My guitarist designed the Tiki Dreams cover and he and I collaborated on the Enabler artwork. We scanned my friend Sam's painting and manipulated the elements around for the cover. The magenta was all me. I would prefer that an artist conceptualize on upcoming projects. I think we've done okay work by ourselves this whole time, but I'd like to have a professional attempt to drive our image more. I want a more easily recognizable logo and we should have a single coming in the next month or two (guitarist in hospital so is delayed). I would want the single artwork, as well as the video to be conceived by the artist. Maybe I would provide a one word descriptor to put the them on some very general path. I'm super interested in someone doing an animation, so if anyone knows anyone who wants to cut their teeth on an original animation for a video to be blasted globally, I am open to negotiations. It's just something I've wanted to do and I feel like anything we come up with featuring ourselves is going to be goofy and dumb. We should save that for our second or third video.

8k 30p. Looks like we’ve got a war between Sony and Canon now.
