damn sorry  i already have 1 for tuesday and 2 for wednesday so i cant help. gotta resell my tuesday now (row G main floor) if anyone wants it, but it wont be available for transfer until june 2nd because weird rules or something. |

That's the issue that I ran into. I really wanted to be in the pit for one of the nights, but since I already had two pairs I couldn't upgrade. Very lame.

God I fucking hate ticketmaster sales for these shows. Glad the best I could do early this week was row U on the floor, and people are pulling pit tickets now.

Seems to be the same thing they did with the initial pre-sale on Monday. Maybe new strategy is to wait 10-15 minutes before attempting to pull tickets?

But did snatch a $33 G.A. floor ticket for tonight's xx show - less than half of the face value!
Forest Hills Stadium is using this glitchy Flash Seats system for reselling tickets to their events. Sellers can't list tickets for less than face, but buyers can bid on tickets. I put in lowball bids on a bunch of single G.A. tickets and came up with a hit. Not really much of an xx fan, but $33 is well worth the opportunity to spend opening night at Forest Hills with genghisnyc.

Fri: Coheed
Saturday: Oddisee
Sunday: Windhand (maybe, have a Jukely spot)
Monday: Murder City Devils (won tix through CHIRP)
That could be rough.

Good deal. I put myself on standby for the Digable Planets show, but I doubt the timings work out to do that and Oddisee. I imagine they'll run about the same time frame.

No webcast thread yet so I'm putting this here: LCD Soundsystem are set to take the stage at the Google I/O developer conference in San Francisco this coming week. Now, YouTube has announced the band’s performance will be live streamed in its entirety. The stream begins the evening of Thursday, May 18 at 9 p.m. PT/12 a.m. ET.Apparently there was a fire there last night such that they had to evacuate. No word on whether it was a trash fire so probably not LCD related. |

Struck out on Alabama Shakes tickets. Shit I forgot about this. Oh well, probably would have struck out as well I was in right at noon on desktop and mobile app. Had a chance to select the quantity right at the beginning and received the no tickets available message. Then I couldn't even select a quantity and try again. Kept refreshing for 20 minutes until the Sold Out screen finally came up. During that span there were two other moments when I could select a quantity, but no luck. |
