Glad there's a night at the Ryman too. Guests are going to be insane. Also lol at my friend's husband who was teasing me about Trey choosing Goose instead of Billy for that little run this fall. I'm not sure if Patti's changed her stance on it - she performed it up through 2019, but it's clearly in poor taste and a mar on her legacy. Seems that it's in her best interest to pull it down. |

Honestly, I think a catalyst to this happening is the n-word actually appearing in the song's title. Like, I could see John Lennon's song going next, or The Avengers' "White N-" but I imagine there would be more debate and hand wringing over, say, "Oliver's Army" getting booted.
