that's okay, tweet, the sleeping village mike show was okay, but I don't ordinarily do "repeats" of rappers, unless they are public enemy or kanye. I would however like to see jay z again, preferably in a place like the riviera where I first saw him.

It looks like that’s how she was doing shows in 2018 as well. A couple theater dates and then a month gap before another couple theater dates

Are people here really interested in seeing Anita Baker? Genuinely curious. I have almost no interest.

Not in an arena setting/for what an arena ticket would cost

I'd consider it for not an unreasonable price.

I liked 'Giving You the Best That I Got' back in 5th grade, but no, I don't have an interest.

I scored fourth row tickets camping out at Carson Pirie Scott for the original So tour in 1987 when Peter Gabriel played Poplar Creek. For a long time it was my favorite concert ever; I remember it being a very theatrical, energetic performance. Much like ten15 , my interest in Peter Gabriel has waned considerably since. The Call opened that show (unless I have my years wrong). One of the greatest shows of my youth. I think I missed the opener because I was working downtown that day. Hadn’t thought about The Call for decades but “I Still Believe” was used in a TV show or movie that we saw recently. Maybe Reservation Dogs? That would be appropriate with Michael Been being an Okie.

Are people here really interested in seeing Anita Baker? Genuinely curious. I have almost no interest. she's whitney houston without the drugs and the drama. can sing in 3 octaves, just like whitney. did see her in a stadium as part of a multi-artist bill in '87, but we were around 7-8 rows back, and she was just great. don't know if I'd purposely buy tix for this go-round, which will sell out instantly even tho it will be very expensive, but without hesitation, I'd volunteer to be designated driver or someone's plus one, if it was offered.

She’s Whitney Houston without the songs maybe.

I thought that Harry Styles arena residency thing was impressive but that might as well be a stadium residency in multiple cities wow

I guess I have some vague hope that with all these shows added prices are somewhat reasonable and she's taking a page outta the Garth Brooks book.
However, she was the first big plant, and fully in bloom now, so I expect it to be like $150 for the 400 level of Solider Field.

its not going to be that bad, but if you want to see taylor swift tour for the first time in 5 years / 4 albums, you're prolly gonna have to pony up!
5 nights at sofi is absurd. good for her.

Tomberlin opened for Hand Habits a few years ago and was really good, and her album this year was low key really good. I think she opened for someone here recently so I guess they had to wait for that show to happen first.
