Went ahead and registered for Billy at Red Rocks too - figured what the hell, it's a bucket list venue and I've been meaning to get out to CO. Let's see what happens! I'd probably have this one on my list if I didn't have 3 different weddings to go to that month. That sort of season in my life right now but Red Rocks is worth the trip |

Live nation is doing a 2-for-1 sale. Nothing in my tastes on the list for Chicagoland but the Portugal the man show next week is on there as well as crowded house (and I guess Styx in Peoria for Bosma’s dad)

Live nation is doing a 2-for-1 sale. Nothing in my tastes on the list for Chicagoland but the Portugal the man show next week is on there as well as crowded house (and I guess Styx in Peoria for Bosma’s dad) You jest but when I moved to Madison and E lived in Peoria with my parents for a few months there was a whole afternoon where my dad was just reading the Wikipedia page for Styx out loud trying to figure out if they’re worth seeing without Dennis DeYoung and he determined “not for the price they’re asking”, so this might move the needle |

Only thing I'd be remotely interested in for the Live Nation 2-for-1 is the Daryl Hall/Todd Rundgren show in STL. But I'm not interested in seeing Hall without Oates.

What do I need to know to buy Taylor Swift tickets? Are VIP tickets worth it? How much is this going to set me back? Do the pre register immediately. Someone posted that they saw the price range is $49-499, but I doubt it will even be as low as $49. She does a fantastic live performance, I have seen her last 3 tours and loved each show. Just be prepared for a complete shit show when the tickets are actually on sale Mookie |
