St Charles is the "Chicago" date. Its their first US tour in 27 years. Surprised they weren't able to book a venue in the city. Seems like a good fit for Bottom Lounge or Reggie's. Presumably at the Arcada. I’ve never seen a show there, but given the quality of acts they typically book, the ticket prices always seem to be outrageous. I wonder if their guarantees are better compared to booking a show at a club in the city. Yeah I've noticed the same. Expensive + St Charles is a pretty awful combination. I'll pass.

New outdoor venue in Colorado Springs with a country singer pointing menacingly: The developer of an 8,000-seat amphitheater in Colorado Springs said construction workers will break ground on the $40 million project in the coming weeks now that city officials have approved it.
Sunset Amphitheater, as it will be called, will sit just north of the city’s core and host “the largest touring acts in the country in style and comfort,” with views of Pikes Peak behind the stage, flanked by the U.S. Air Force Academy stadium on the left and the Air Force Academy chapel on the right, according to a press statement

Okay, $200 for 100-level for Madonna is not bad, so I did it.

i saw that announcement from the bottle the other day and was a little surprised they're big enough for 3 nights, even if they did play metro a year or two ago.

I can’t believe I’m about to praise a corporation, but AXS probably deserves some credit here for implementing this, or at least trying to.

Man even this band's fucking tour posters are annoying. I'm sure someone here will find some use in this though.

100 Gecs @ the Aragon on 4/20 sounds like the most insufferable show on the planet. And I like that band!

Anyone look at Wilco tickets this morning? I don't really think I need to see them again anytime soon, but I'm curious about the ticketing levels. What part of the Riv is the GA VIP area? Is that just like the first tier off the floor?

My strategy for this run will be the same that I used for their Holiday residencies. Just buy a ticket for whatever night is cheapest on the secondary market week of the show.

My strategy for this run will be the same that I used for their Holiday residencies. Just buy a ticket for whatever night is cheapest on the secondary market week of the show. I'm becoming more and more of the belief that I should just wait for the secondary market for most shows these days the way prices drop the day or week of the show. I just don't like waiting for the secondary market when I'm too nervous about what it might be like. For instance, Madonna's show is a few days before Market Days, so that entire week will be Gay Holy Week, so god knows what those tickets might end up costing on the secondary market.

Yeah I expect Madonna secondary ticket prices to be insane exactly for that reason. I wasn't going to chance that either.

Is that just like the first tier off the floor? I paid $200 for (2) first balcony tickets for their Thursday show. Last time I saw them was P4K 2015 so I don't mind.

Cap Theatre is a pain to get to from Brooklyn so I just grabbed a lot of reserved balcony tickets for Wilco’s Saturday show. $200 + fees for the pair but I probably would’ve talked myself into going to all three shows if they were at Kings or even Beacon, so through a certain lens, I saved $?
The convergence of these tickets going on sale in close proximity with Madonna, Metallica and The National is killing me financially.
