Madison date is at Breese Stevens. Was wondering when they were going to announce some shows there I was going to ask if that was the park where I once saw Flaming Lips, Dum Dum Girls and a few other bands back in 2012 that was a good spot, but I guess that was at Warner Park. Oh well. |

Oh well. This place is nice too, it’s where the soccer team plays. I saw Willie Nelson and the Avetts there a couple years ago and the sound was great, good sight lines, etc. Would say it’s definitely worth it. I don’t think they do shows at Warner Park anymore which is a huge bummer |

I’ve only been to the other amphitheater in that park I think but my understanding is it’s not bad as long as you aren’t in the lawn or the back of the seated section. Parking not too far away from the park, isn’t super hard to get to, etc.
It would have to be more convenient than Northerly Island

bright eyes at the chicago theater last yr was one of the worst concerts I have ever attended, and oberst hadn't significantly fallen far off from the wagon then.

bright eyes at the chicago theater last yr was one of the worst concerts I have ever attended, and oberst hadn't significantly fallen far off from the wagon then. he was obviously drunk when i saw him in okc in may, but was a happy drunk and it didn't affect the show that much. a few shows later in houston is when he just left after a few songs. |

I got chosen, too! I actually sat through the album. No idea if I'll actually buy tickets, but the chance is there.
And yeah tickets won't be on sale until 6/23 for the RR show I can get tickets for.
