The Killers are playing the Casino in Gary on May 11th Fair warning - that casino is a longer trek from Chicago than you'd think. And the venue is pretty much a concrete box. |

Fair warning - that casino is a longer trek from Chicago than you'd think. And the venue is pretty much a concrete box. My buddy is willing to drive so I'm considering it. Internet tells me the room holds like 2k, does that sound right to you? I guess so. Only time I was there was for Anthrax/BLS/Hatebreed, and it was about half full. The line to get in wound all the way through the casino and out the entrance. Seemed like a cluster, but they had folks scan your tickets in line and stamp your hand so when you got to the front all you had to do was go through the metal detector. |

One thing that might make it more worth it is they won't let you resell their tickets through ticketbastard until a few days before the show. One thing that might make it more worth it is they won't let you resell their tickets through ticketbastard until a few days before the show. I need to sell my flaming lips ticket, and it won't even let me transfer the ticket now this is also the case with tickets bought there. they don't give out physical tickets. |

A friend of mine was horrified by the price as well until I pointed out she was looking at premium seats and VIP packages I don't know how to do images but for 1L, row P for this show the local presale was $89.50 before fees, and the same goddamn row for the Live Nation presale was $129.50 before fees. $60 swings at the front of the house for the same rows. For context, I paid $200 all in for 2 tickets after fees for Trevor Noah in the same venue in roughly the same area. These bastards are exploiting our mothers and 1015's coworkers now and it's gotta stop. |
