I think a Pit ticket at Northerly Island starts at $100 minimum for any show. They were charging $150 for 300 level for Duran Duran during the presale yesterday. Good ole Live Nation lol. I suspect a lot of these shows are going to end up in that $25 all in sale. I agree and as of now I haven't purchased tickets for any shows at Northerly this year. |

re Bruce: Those prices are at least cheaper than the winter/spring arena prices (even pre dynamic pricing) This year is kind of shaping to possibly be the most I've ever spent on concert tickets personally. Shows are insane. The Bruce ticket I bought is the most I've spent on any one individual concert “Look, the bullies aren’t so bad they could’ve knocked me out instead they just kicked the shit out of me” I'm not saying it shouldn't be cheaper |

Speaking of paying too much for shows, I shelled out $90 for Duran Duran back of venue GA at Red Rocks. I think both shows already sold out.

Jane Goodall announced an afternoon talk at the Chicago Theatre and it sounded interesting so I got tix for that. Pretty sure it'll be my first science lecture in the trapper keeper this just made me realize i don't put comedians on my tracker. huh, i don't know why i didn't start doing that in the 90s. from memory and in random order (my specific list of trapper kept comedians is not where I'm typing this): cosby, dennis miller, bobcat, nora dunn, snopek III, pdq bach, willie tyler and lester, williams and ree, y smirnoff, dan whitney [now known as larry the cable guy], larry reeb, gardell, rickles, craig ferguson, carlin booksigning, jerry lewis talk, bernie mac, youngman, blake clark, piscopo, charlie callas, dreesen, stewie stone, kinison, carl labove, dennis blair, rita rudner, john midas, karen finley, vincent maranto, richard jeni, louie anderson. |

Same, except I haven't purchased tickets to anything at all for spring/summer. My plan is to wait it out and just go with whatever is cheap/free. |

Shows are insane. it's definitely getting crazy. if you toss out festivals, my average concert ticket price has been below $30 every year. in 2022, it was $41. some of that is a factor of the types of shows i've gone to, but it's still a huge jump. |

I feel the same. But I was pleasantly surprised the presale tickets for the new St. Louis fest were $100 plus fees ($240 total for two). That was very similar to LouFest five years ago. |

The rumor for the second show is 8/11. Not sure how that will work with Pink playing the 12th, but we shall see!
