Today I bought tickets to both Chemical Brothers and the Meg Stalter/Patti Harrison/Sarah Squirm tour and fellas let me tell you it felt so good to just get some tickets and not have other fans beat me to the tickets 100x in a row One of the in-between Coachella shows? Ya Seattle

Thoughts on where to park for Salt Shed? Wondering if I am better off taking a ride share.

I know the venue itself sells parking but it is sold out. I have no idea on the permit situation on North Ave. but I would expect street parking to suck (I think K parked in a Spothero garage a couple blocks away). Getting out of there will probably be a disaster which is the only downside to rideshare

There’s a kind of side street to nowhere a little north of the venue and I parked in there. No idea if that’s supposed to be allowed.

Update on how it went. He deleted all his socials. I mean deleting his socials is probably good for him, he seemed to be taking every criticism to heart which wasn't healthy and he clearly runs his accounts himself. Some people who were too dumb to understand the process or just didn't win the lottery were saying really mean shitty things. The whole process has kind of shown me that maybe we just deserve to forever be miserable in the ticket buying experience I mean from an objective outside point of view it seems like a success. Every single show sold out without scalpers getting any. Demand is just beyond the venues he's playing (which is crazy, honestly) so not everyone won the lottery, which was going to happen As much as virtual waiting rooms, variable ticket pricing, and unlimited "presales" suck, it's clear to me that most people just don't understand supply and demand. There is not a solution that will ever make the mouth breathing, you own me a ticket fan happy. And honestly, those fans are making it all worse for the rest of us because artists that are trying to find a better way are just divorcing themselves from the process because dealing with the blowback sucks and I don't fault hem at all.

After getting shut out of every other verified fan on sale I’ve entered, I was able to get a 300 level ticket for Beyoncé at Ford Field today, so that’s cool

I know there's that Gary date, but I have a feeling we are due for a Weezer return to Riot Fest Agreed, I think they usually play every 3-4 years so they're due. Also, I don't like the idea that that casino is going to start pulling tours that would otherwise plays venues in the city.

My question would be “which Wu Tang members will be there?”

That tour was structured like Nas does a set, then Wu-Tang, then Nas, then Wu-Tang, and back and forth like 3 times, which IMO made for a really fun and well paced show vs just having the sets one after another. Also Busta Rhymes was billed as the opener but did his set in the middle of the show in between the acts and that was a blast too and had way more energy than he would have had as an opener That's got me thinking about other tours that did that. I saw The Flaming Lips and Weezer do the same thing back in 2011, and it was a blast. Weezer would play 3 songs then The Flaming Lips would play 3 songs and go back and forth like that until they closed together (setlists linked). Only time I can think of a full band show like that I'm sure it's a logistical pain to set something like that up, probably much easier for a hip-hop show, but curious if anyone can think of any other big tours that have done a similar thing? Only other ones I can think of is that Drake vs Lil Wayne tour and sort of the Watch the Throne tour

The Beyonce/Jay-Z tour was structured like that and frankly it sucked when Jay went on
