god fucking damn it I finally get a good offer from Do312--JAMES BLAKE!--and I have a film festival screening that night  Actually, I was wrong--my festival screenings are on other nights. However, I do have a plus one--anyone want it? |

Hell yes. Going to go to that first show in LA for sure. Tickets are pretty expensive but worth it IMO.
Chicago show is at the Vic for anyone who cares.

Foo Fighters announced a show at a 5k theater type of venue in between ACL dates in October and I think I got caught up in the small venue surprise show same day onsale thing because we never get that sort of thing here but I just spent more on a Foo Fighters ticket than I ever thought I would, $188 after fees. I guess compared to some of these arena prices happening it's not all that bad, but probably a world where I decide it's not worth it and throw this back on the face value exchange Only seen them one other time though and I think a venue like that would be fun this is today and I gotta say the debate in my head of go out for a small Foo Fighters show or get $188 back in my pocket is a tough one right now |

If it was post-Wasting Light I don't think you need to go back. Actually caught the last US show with Taylor Hawkins last year in February. Up to that point, I had never seen them, but it scratched the itch. Only reason I really bought these tickets was because I got caught up in a small venue show hype, we don't get those too often. But I don't think it'd make a huge difference for them, if anything I'm not looking forward to that venue being overpacked |

If you just saw them, I would estimate you could get a hell of a lot more than $188 for that ticket and I would dump it.
But I've also seen them in a small room and it is objectively a lot of fun, so if you're a big fan (you don't need to out yourself on this board don't worry) just go.

Grabbed presale for both Tool and Tyler this morning. In the midst of all that I received a notification that Isbell announced a show at Mission Ballroom and the presale was happening immediately so grabbed tickets to that as well.

Apparently Will Johnson has been touring with Isbell for a good portion of this year as a member of the 400 Unit playing guitar, drums and aux perc. Hopefully he’s still doing it next year, too.

Isbell in an interview said that the band being bigger right now is one of the reasons they are doing the arena and stadium opening shows, I think that's here to stay at least through next year |
