At Green Day’s Vegas club show last night, there was a flyer for a 2024 Summer stadium tour featuring them, The Smashing Pumpkins, Rancid, and The Linda Linda’s. No dates yet. That will be a fun time at Wrigley

I can't remember if he was a board member very very early on, or if he was just associated with us all.

Just registered for as many Saturdays as I could on there.... I'm wondering if it's better to get my wife to do the same dates or spread across eight dates. I had no luck in the last round.

I've seen her twice since 2017--neither time in Vegas--and I'll say it's definitely worth seeing her anywhere. I wasn't even a fan before the first time I saw her. I always just thought she made music for lying around and crying. Still, I was curious and managed to get a ticket on the floor not far from the stage, so I went. As she said in the promo email they sent out today: "It's crazy how joyful a show full of sad songs can be!!" That is exactly how I've felt after each of the shows I've seen of hers. If any of you guys try to get tickets or are even just thinking about it, I hope you get to go. I think if you're really a fan of live music that it's impossible to not enjoy her show.

st. hubbins, I let a friend I know in suburban cleveland know that a ticket to dylan in akron is available, and I'll get back to you as soon as they respond.
ultravisitor, I am "really a fan of live music," but I know beyond a reasonable doubt that I would not enjoy Adele's show.

I went in being a casual listener and came out more appreciative of her music. Her set pieces in this residency are absolutely incredible. So much attention to detail, especially her childhood Polaroid confetti that she shoots towards the end of her set .

One of my top concert experiences ever was when she performed "Set Fire to the Rain" while standing inside a column of rain during 2017. I had never heard the song until that moment. It was just jawdropping.

a funnier reply might have been to make a joke about “the who,” another influential rock band from the 60s, in a faux-confused, abbott-and-costello fashion

I completely missed that My Brightest Diamond had an early show at Hideout today, even though I'm on the mailing list for both the venue and the band. That sucks

Fred Again has an eight night residency at a 6300 capacity venue in LA starting this week and I can't find a single ticket for any night for under $200. Insane/infuriating. Good for him though I guess.

for their last announced US tour, metro was the largest venue on the tour. and if ticket numbers are accurate, my #713 was far more than most other venues hold. from the venues i know for this round, it looks like the vic is the largest venue assuming they don't play the masquerade's main space. why is their chicago popularity so much more than other places?
