That's the Wintrust Arena in the city, not out here The arena out here is called NOW Arena now Weird because the website lists Wintrust field and the tour looks like it's all outdoor venues primusville.com/#tourThat's right, all of these god damn places hvae the same names... Wintrust field is where the schaumburg boomers baseball team plays. But the Jam post said it's the arena in the city

Any folks going to the Billy Strings Van Andel Scramble tonight: I'll be cosplaying as my favorite photo of Jerry. Say hi if u see me! (my real name's Will if ya didn't know) I'll be the tall guy in a hot dog shirt next to a guy in a hot dog costume. I am so excited for this show and so nervous that the snow is gonna make us late driving from Chicago. Saw those actual Jerry pants at an exhibit in San Francisco years ago. I'll be wearing a purple tie dye jumpsuit and purple satin robe. I don't know. Merch line was insane when we walked by this morning, can't believe how many people slept in line overnight.

Indigo de Souza is at Thala Feb 16th. I'm sure there are other dates but I don't see them yet.
Her new album has really grown on me, so I'll see her again

Interested in that Dirty Projectors show but it doesn't seem to be an actual Dirty Projectors show... need more details
About this Performance David Longstreth of Dirty Projectors presents Song of the Earth, a suite for orchestra and voices.
The new composition, which will be receiving its American premiere with the LA Phil, grew out of an engagement with Gustav Mahler’s 1908 orchestral song cycle, Das Lied Von Der Erde (The Song of the Earth). Where Mahler’s union of symphonic and song forms was a meditation—by turns joyous, angst-ridden, and wistful—on the cyclical character of life and death, nature, and the transience of all things, Longstreth explores these themes through the lens of the Anthropocene.
Song Of The Earth was originally commissioned for André de Ridder and his brilliant s t a r g a z e ensemble by the London Barbican and the Hamburg Elbphilharmonie in coordination with the Helsinki Festival.

I still have no desire to see any show at Wrigley. The Hives are opening their Euro dates, hopefully that means we'll get tour from them here too

I always have a good time at shows at Wrigley though it helps that it's under a 20 minute walk for me. I just have no desire to see a band play there, not really a good explanation. Don't think I'd prefer Soldier Field any better. Blah.

The one at Bottom Lounge? I think it's a small tour first, hoping for a bigger venue next time so I can actually get a ticket
