That Avondale Brewing place in Birmingham is a genuinely cool place that books shockingly big acts. Had a very good time there before a Phish show.

Anyone going to the Angel Olsen shows this weekend? Just got tickets to the Sunday show with Joanna Sternberg opening, who probably has my #1 album of 2023 at this point.

I know a few people here liked Haley Heynderickx's debut a few years back. She'll be touring with Tim Baker, who was the lead singer of a band I really liked, Hey Rosetta! (despite the way the poster makes it look, Haley is headlining)

Was able to pull $299 200 level tickets but still a big no thank you for me. Whenever those lucky dip tickets go on sale, I might try for those.

What are lucky dip tickets? i think they're really cheap ($25-ish?) tickets sold on day of show maybe? they're scattered all over the stadium and you don't know what you'll get until you buy them. are they singles? someone else probably knows more.

I’ve never done it, but apparently it’s been a thing for all of their tours even in 2019, but they sell out very fast. It’s $50+fees (may have gone up but that’s how much they were last tour) and you won’t know where you’re sitting until you scan your ticket. Could be total nose bleeders, could be pit.

Stones are charging $300 for 400 level solider field tix which is a big no thank you with Charlie in the grave. That was the premium sale which was definitely aimed to gouge people. The artist presale starts at $69 plus fees for 400 level.

Riviera/The Vic are teasing something that has to do with Idles if that intrigues anyone. They are playing the Aragon Sept. 18th. No idea why they put any extra effort into this announcement

Couldn't tell you on that one, all the tix were gone when I finally got in. Went back in for shits and giggles and got my mom and her godmother decent seats- row 4 in the 400s on the aisle. $350 for the pair after fees. Me personally, I’m just gonna gamble on the secondhand market week of.
