I saw Neil and his band (not Crazy Horse) back in 2008(?). I wasn't a huge fan of his, but I figured, "I should go see him now, because who knows how much longer he'll be around, and if I get into him later I'm going to kick myself for not going." My fandom hasn't increased much, but the show was really good, over 2 hours and I understood every word he said. Also saw him at Farm Aid when they played KC years back, he did a relatively short solo acoustic set, which was also really good. it was that kansas city sprint center show, right? i went to that one too. was really good - it was his "electric band" backing him and they were great. neville brothers opened up and that was cool. Yep, that was it! |

Just saw a new one that had me laughing. Venue here was advertising the Styx and Foreigner show happening this summer, and it's being billed as "together live for the last time ever"
That's not saying either band won't play live again or that this is any sort of final tour. Just that they won't play live together again.
Almost hope they do a co "reunion" tour together in a few years. "You thought they'd never play on the same bill again but here they are!"
