Sublime with Rome (but without any original members) announced a farewell tour. It is at the casino in Gary here this is absolutely hilarious to me. I hope they extend the "farewell tour" multiple years sad for Rome he couldn't find a new band though. Coulda had him go replace singers in lots of bands He has been in the band but isn't part of this "farewell tour" The Fray with Rome coulda been big

Going to try to go to this but not expecting to be able to, both for financial and scarcity of ticket reasons:
Queens of the Stone Age vocalist/guitarist Josh Homme has announced an all-star benefit concert in support of his Sweet Stuff Foundation taking place at the Belasco in Los Angeles on March 20th.
In addition to Homme’s Queens of the Stone Age bandmates Troy Van Leeuwen and Michael Shuman, the benefit show will feature fellow musicians Dave Grohl, Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, St. Vincent, Beck, Matt Helders of Arctic Monkeys, and Jesse Hughes of Eagles of Death Metal alongside comedians Bill Burr and Sarah Silverman. The Kills, Tyler Parkford, Vivant, and Justin Willman will also appear.

I have to imagine they had Sublime w/Rome dates booked before the fake reunion, and they had a legal obligation or something.

Was that in the Amex sale? I haven't gotten the presale password yet. Yep it was the Amex sale. fwiw Barclays Center had two prices for GA - $120ish and like $180ish for “early entry” GA. Had to scroll down or filter out to get to the lower priced GA option.

MMJ is doing four night with no repeats at the Fillmore in San Francisco in May This is stressing me out as it's also the last day to unload unwanted reservations for One Big Holiday (which I really don't want to go to but there's a perfect storm of beloved friends attending). Did I register for the SF presale? Dear reader, I did. I got a pair for Friday... wonder if others will be forthcoming. If not, wonder if I'll travel for a single show 🤔

I'm driving to Big Ears again. I decided that I'm going to go to Atlanta the night before and catch Mclusky. May do the Coca-Cola Museum the next morning, the distance between ATL and Knoxville is only 3 hours.
