I'm driving to Big Ears again. I decided that I'm going to go to Atlanta the night before and catch Mclusky. May do the Coca-Cola Museum the next morning, the distance between ATL and Knoxville is only 3 hours. The tasting room at the Coke museum is worth the entire visit |

I don't know that I care to see Kid Cudi in 2024 so maybe I'm part of the problem but if even the hip-hop tours skipping us here in Houston that sucks
and in a similar vein Friko is on my to see list and that skips Texas, although hopefully they do a fall leg

i don't know who the fuck that is, but it sure as fuck isn't the late Wesley Willis. As the song lyric says, he "whipped Spiderman's Ass" I was watching a tour of the Punk Rock Museum in Las Vegas recently and they have Wesley Willis's keyboard in there. Made me so happy to see. |

This is stressing me out as it's also the last day to unload unwanted reservations for One Big Holiday (which I really don't want to go to but there's a perfect storm of beloved friends attending). Did I register for the SF presale? Dear reader, I did. I got a pair for Friday... wonder if others will be forthcoming. If not, wonder if I'll travel for a single show 🤔 Yay in for all four. Bun B the last two years has done a rap "takeover" show at the Rodeo here in Houston, first year was all Houston rappers, next year all Southern rappers, this year he opened it up for whoever. It's on Tuesday. Missed the last two years but we're planning to go this year. So far he's announced Rick Ross, E-40, Too Short, Nelly, Eve, That Mexican OT, and the Ying Yang Twins.
He just tweeted that Drake is joining now too. Resale prices have already shot up like 5x lol.
This is going to be a fun show
