Misfits announced a show in Austin with Suicidal Tendencies opening and I decided to look since it's on a Saturday and I'd like to see them once. It's at the arena there, 15k capacity. Get in the door price (upper bowl) is $85 + fees, and they are trying to charge $235 + fees for the regular GA Pit. Except they also have a front section of the pit blocked off as a "VIP Pit" and that's $305 + fees It went on sale last week and predictably, the show looks maybe 20% sold? If they wanted to play an intimate venue and charge a lot then that's one thing but trying to do an arena at these prices is hilarious. Bet it gets cancelled Have seen this reunion several times and never paid face value. Just until day of and you'll be able to get something nice and cheap on Stubhub or whatever.

It's been a minute since I've been to a show at the Bohemian cemetery. Have they changed anything up in terms of layout? Any parking tips?

That shit is never leaving that theater. What a waste. If it makes dollars it makes sense. I don't think they'll keep going past the summer, but that's pure speculation on my part. I have heard they're having a hard time booking whoever the next act is going to be. There's only so many bands that can handle this type of residency. Also, no need to yuck someone else's yum. It's an incredible show, even if it's not for you.

Fred Again is playing the Memorial Coliseum in LA this Friday Well shit. Drain/Terror/Angel Dust/Mindforce/End It/H20 is that night too. Don’t have a ticket yet so now I’m stuck with this Sophie’s choice. EDIT: I don't know why I thought Fred Again playing an arena on a few day's notice would be relatively cheap to fill it up but it's not. Makes my decision a bit easier.

I really should see Phantom Planet at some point, or at least see them do this song, but that ain't it Saw them in like 2003 when they were touring their good album. They were really good. I had no idea they were still a band.
