They sold out Golden Gate Park in like 30 seconds. Obviously that was with a real band opening unlike what we have here. But this isn't really a full-blown tour and I think people will travel for it. I would think that you need to buy tickets up front if you want to go.

definitely considering that Turnover show at the Aragon, because I missed them the year (day?) they and Turnstile both played riot fest, and I only saw the latter's set. (in reply to mookie)
Isbell's future opener Garrison Starr was pretty great when I saw her, and she doesn't tour a lot these days. I was disheartened back when the Police re-united and played Wrigley, as I didn't want to pay hundreds of dollars to see sting and his plus two. Instead, that day I went to see Garrison Starr, at a small venue, knowing nothing ahead of time about her, and was blown away by how great each song was. (in reply to monastery)
