I just noticed the date they announced for Chicago was the optional additional date. I guess Wednesday vs Thursday shouldn't make much difference for demand.

It is annoying when an initial show sells out and the extra show is scheduled for before the initial date.

It is annoying when an initial show sells out and the extra show is scheduled for before the initial date. big pet peeve of mine. this happened with pulp at radio city in 2012. jarvis said something early on like "welcome to night 2 of pulp... but it's really night 1, isn't it?"

It is annoying when an initial show sells out and the extra show is scheduled for before the initial date. when UFO reunited w/ Michael Schenker and played the Vic, they announced Friday first, before they announced the Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday shows, and the Wednesday book signing. I bought the Friday ticket, but went over there on Monday, and found somebody to swap one of their Mondays for my Friday (I was afraid the band would split up again before the end of the week).

I think the same concern applies here.

Maybe the Jamie xx show will get down to like $10 and then I'll go.
Signed up for the Oasis Chicago date(s). Prepared to pay a dumb amount of money for that, even with Cage the Elephant opening.

Did y’all get your emails confirmations from the Oasis “private ballot” right away? I filled mine out 10 minutes ago but no email, nothing in spam.
Edit: Disregard! Email came through about five minutes after I made this post.

The Fred Again.. b2b Four Tet show last Thursday was my first show at Aragon in a little under a year. They didn't have the sound board area on the floor, it was upstairs in the balcony. Has that been the case there for a minute of was that probably a one off thing to have more room on the dance floor?

Yes - I went to see Till Lindemann.

Fontaines DC on Wednesday totally snuck up on me - been so focused on birthdays and travel arrangements. Looks to be one of the smaller venues they're playing this tour, too. Eeeeee

I still don't get why y'all think this won't sell. It was a Taylor Swift situation across the pond for these tix up to and including the lawsuits I believe. I'm sorry it's not 2009- it would be better if it was!

are you asking why people think there may be different demand for oasis tickets in america versus the uk

I feel like "different from the UK demand" and "these tix will be $20 day of because who cares in the USA" are very different things

I'm assuming everyone got the same trivia question on the Oasis registration page?

I'm assuming everyone got the same trivia question on the Oasis registration page? Last time they played in U.S. or North America. (I looked on setlist.fm.)

They asked me what the best crisps sold at Tesco are. I entered "don't be such a wanker" and was immediately given a presale code.

We had no problems parking on Elston near the hideout last night for PJ Harvey. I imagine if there's a show at Outset though that will kinda screw it up
